Fergus 1 falls short in HIT

LeSueur 1 took home the Division 2A championship title over Moorhead 2. Third place honors went to Williston 1 who topped the Hillcrest Alumni 2 team while the Fergus Falls 4 team held on for consolation recognition over Bloomington 1. Moorhead 4 defeated Grand Forks 1 for the Division 2B championship while Toronto’s No. 2 team claimed third place over LBS. Appleton defeated Hillcrest’s 1990 alumni squad in the consolation match. Division 3 was claimed by LeSueur 2 over Minneapolis’ team. Hillcrest 2 downed Osakis for third place while Hillcrest’s alumni of 1997 defeated the class of 2007 for consolation honors. Eli Black of the Williston 2 team drained 24-of-25 free throws to win the free throw contest for Division 2A. Division 2B’s Mike Wireman of Grand Forks 1 followed with 23-of-25 while Hillcrest’s Class of 2007 Josh Peterson made 22-of-25 for third place from Division 3.
