Dump truck rolls in FF

When the right wheels of the truck went off the edge of the road, Stoa said it looked like the driver tried to overcorrect by turning hard left, but tipped the truck. Stoa said she ran to call 911. Another neighbor, Roger Umlauf, said he he got his axe when he saw the cabin of the truck filling with smoke. &uot;It was so full of smoke you could hardly see him,&uot; he said. Umlauf broke through the window with axe and helped free the driver. Paramedics stabilized the driver’s neck and carried him on a stretcher to an ambulance. He was taken to Lake Region Hospital where he was treated for a concussion and bruises to his shoulders and legs. The Fergus Falls Fire Department was called to help clean up black dirt as well as oil and gasoline that spilled onto the road from the accident.
