Roger Keller OBITUARY
Published 12:00am Tuesday, October 4, 2005He was a man of strong faith and an active member of First Baptist Church. He loved his wife, family and grandchildren dearly and was a friend to many, always willing to lend a hand and never leaving a job undone. An avid outdoorsman, He belonged to several sportsman clubs with special interest in ice fishing and hunting. His hobbies included collecting hats, antique torches, furniture restoration and keeping other on their toes with practical jokes and pranks. He took great pride in everything he did and that was especially true in his dedication to family, farming and gardening. A cancer survivor, he attended and appreciated the Relay for Life Walk. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife, Val Jean; daughters: Brenda (Matt) Hobbs, rural Underwood, Tammy (Steve) Nelson, Minneapolis, Jana (Brad) Thaemert, Sioux Falls, S.D., Kristi (Chris) Metz, Brainerd, and Heidi (Ted) Larson, Big Lake; grandchildren: Abby, Tyler and Logan Hobbs, Reina and Elliott Nelson, Ceirrah, Jadah and Nyah Thaemert, Shayla, Braedon, Gavin and Aubri Metz and Sydney, Jordyn and Jake Larson; sisters, Delores (Don) Quast, Saginaw, Mich., and Rosemary Kolle, Fergus Falls; brothers, Clifford Keller, Fergus Falls, and Larry (Mae) Keller, Atlanta, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church Roger Keller Memorial Fund. Visitation: Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at at the First Baptist Church, Fergus Falls Clergy: Rev.
