The Chargers improved to 1-1 on the season with a narrow victory over visiting Browerville Friday night. A hard fought battle, the Tigers were not able to get off a final shot in the waning moments, dropping to 0-2 on the year.

Katie Boesl led the way with 13 points for Brandon Evansville. Tiffany Lund delivered a double double with 11 points and 8 rebounds in the victory.

Browerville was led by the scoring of Jordan Noska and Rachel Johnson who scored 22 and 15 points, respectively.

Rebounding was even at 28 for each team.

The Chargers will host CGB Monday at 7:30 p.m.
