Army National Guard Spec. Katherine E. Arndt has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

She is the daughter of Dennis and Christine Arndt of Central Ave. N., Brandon.

Arndt graduated in 2000 from Brandon High School, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2004 from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
