Five WCA cagers earn HOL cage honors

Five West Central Area girls earned All-Heart O’ Lakes Conference honors for the 2007-08 season.

Liza Torgerson, Taylor Brekke, DeLaine Ronhovde and Krystal Lacey were all named to the all-conference team from West Central Area.

Also named were Perham’s Elisa Moenkedick and Tara Sailer; Hawley’s Angie Jetvig and Sam Spaeth; DGF’s Jenna Green, Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Driscoll; Lake Park Audubon’s Dawnelle Askelson and Ashley Tingelstad and Frazee’s Courtney Kallis and Abby Berven.

Earning honorable mention were WCA’s Laura Huebner, Hawley’s Jessica Amman, DGF’s Madi Brantner, Ulen-Hitterdal’s Meghan Schulz and Laura Ciernia, Pelican Rapids’ Haley Hoyer, Barnesville’s Amanda Volrath, Perham’s Tiffany Schroeer and Becca Peloquin and Breckenridge’s Stacy Abel.

Jetvig was named the conference MVP.
