Emma Clara Pauline Rowland, 96 of Bemidji, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at Neilson Place in Bemidji.

She was born Aug. 10, 1912, in Elizabeth, the daughter of Charles and Edith (Kading) Harworth. She married Ed Rowland in Elizabeth in January of 1930.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; a daughter, Eileen Beckman; sisters, Lydia Whalen, Martha Struckman; and brother Edwin Harworth.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Monica) Rowland, Sr. of Wilton; a daughter, Beverly (Riley) Slosson of Seattle, Wash.; a son-in-law, Kenny Beckman of Fergus Falls; a sister-in-law,    Lucy Harworth; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home

Service: 1 p.m. Monday, at Cease Family Funeral Home, Bemidji Clergy: Rev. Linnea Papke-Larson

Burial: Wilton Cemetery, Wilton
