OTC Bulldogs win Prairie North Conference

The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs held off a tough Upsala-Swanville team, taking the win and the Prairie North Conference Championship.

Shane Winkler and Erik Smith had good games on the ground for the Bulldogs gaining 152 and 63 yard respectively, with two touchdowns apiece.

The Bulldogs (6-1, 3-0), gained 236 yards in total offense compared to 128 for the Patriots (3-4, 3-0).

“This was a big win for us,” said Bulldog head coach Don Seipkes. “we really stepped it up in the second half, especially on defense. the kids have worked hard, and now they’re conference champs.”

The Bulldogs host United North Central on Wednesday.
