2008 East Otter Tail County honors its 4-H’ers

Area youth and adults were honored at the annual 4-H Recognition Awards Program on Sunday, October 26th, at Trinity Lutheran Church in New York Mills. Minnesota 4-H Youth Development makes measurable impact in the lives of youth in out-of-school time.

However, without caring youth and adult leaders who volunteer their time, talents and services, to build caring relationships with one another, the positive impact would not be possible. So a big thank you goes out to those who so diligently contribute to our community’s youth through the 4-H program.

Likewise without the support of community partners the youth in East Otter Tail County 4-H would not have the opportunities to be shaped and molded into the positive leaders and citizens they are developing into. The Friend of 4-H Award was granted to Carol Hollatz, Activities Director, St. Williams Living Center, Parkers Prairie, for her years of support to the 4-H Program.
