Five join hospital foundation board

Five new members joined the Lake Region Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors, bringing with them years of business and community service experience.

Chair Larry Dorn, a long-time board member, welcomed the new faces and said he looks forward to working with them to continue enhancing healthcare in our community.

“We have been fortunate to have had a strong slate of volunteers on the Board,” Dorn said “I am confident that our new directors, with their fresh wealth of experience, will enable the board to continue working toward our priorities.”

The foundation’s priorities include: supporting patients in crisis; outreach, wellness and health promotion; supporting annual capital projects; supporting community-based health care programs; and health care workforce development; and supporting the Cancer Care and Research Center capital campaign.

The new board members are: Crystal Adams, Dave Bickett, Kim

Embretson, Todd McGovern, DDS and Dic Pickett, CPA.

They join current Board members: Chair Larry Dorn, Vice-Chair Solveig Halbakken, Secretary-Treasurer Dennis Emmen, David Bjork, MD, Paul Etzell, MD, David Johnson, Dr. Linda Matter, Stephen Rufer, and Gary Spies.
