Rothsay has rare challenge

Congratulations to the City of Rothsay for being chosen for Otter Tail Power’s Energy Challenge.

The project, which kicked off last week, will include energy audits, rebates, grants and other energy efficiency incentives for the community. It will be far-reaching for Rothsay, including homes, businesses and government buildings.

We hope that Rothsay residents take full advantage of the opportunity, which will ultimately benefit them in the form of financial savings. It also will provide a model for Otter Tail Power to use for all of its communities.

Ultimately, saving energy through innovative methods might save the planet.
