Malmstrom pitches Lady Bulldogs over Pillager

The Lady Bulldogs picked up another conference win on their home field Thursday when they shutout the Pillager Lady Huskies. OTC scored nine runs on ten hits while committing only one error.

Pitching the Lady Bulldogs to a win was Carmen Malmstrom who threw to Toni Hagen for seven innings, allowing five hits while picking up seven K’s. Malmstrom’s pitching record improves to 4-0 on the season.

Leading hitters for the Lady Bulldogs were Sara Houselog who went 3-3 with an RBI, Taylor Lundquist went 2-3 with an RBI and Toni Hagen went 2-3 with a triple and an RBI.

The Lady Bulldogs record improves to 14-3 on the year.
