One injured, one arrested after crash

One person was injured and another arrested for DWI following an accident northeast of Weetown Sunday afternoon.

A pickup driven by John Michael Ackerman, 26, of Fergus Falls, collided with a motorcycle driven by a juvenile male on Water Street Road one mile north of County Highway 1, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

The juvenile sustained extensive leg trauma, as well as other injuries, and was transported to Lake Region Hospital.
