DWI arrest made after sex complaint
Published 12:00pm Wednesday, July 1, 2009One person was arrested for DWI after Fergus Falls police responded to a report of a nuisance in the Westridge Cinema parking lot Tuesday evening.
The incident began shortly before 9 p.m. when someone at Westridge Cinema contacted police to report a couple apparently having sex in a vehicle in the theater’s parking lot. According to Fergus Falls police, an officer was en route to the mall when he observed a vehicle traveling erratically along West Lincoln Avenue, with a female apparently “bouncing” on the male driver’s lap. The driver, a 22-year-old Pelican Rapids man, was arrested for DWI. A 21-year-old Rothsay woman in the vehicle was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
