Truck hits ditch, road
Published 11:51am Monday, December 21, 2009A Wadena man was not seriously injured when his vehicle ran off of the road and jumped another street shortly after midnight Sunday.
Robert Lowell Thomson, 46, was southbound on County Highway 50 east of Deer Creek when he lost control of his 2005 Toyota Tundra and went off of the road, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. Thomson’s pickup hit the ditch at the intersection with County Highway 73, jumped the highway and continued into the ditch. Thomson reported minor injuries but did not seek medical attention, according to the sheriff’s office. His pickup sustained more than $1,000 in damage.
