Man arrested after theft

On Monday Fergus Falls police arrested a man following a theft at Movies & More at WestRidge Mall. Gary Yantes, 66, of Frazee, was arrested in the parking lot of the mall on the west side of Fergus Falls.

Fergus Falls police received a call at 11:47 a.m. after an employee of Movies & More followed a person who had shoplifted goods. The suspect stole $129 in DVD/PS2 games.

Chief of Public Safety Tim Brennan said the store employee was confronting the suspect in the mall parking lot when police arrived. The suspect was later put under arrest.
