The Otter Tail Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the burglary of about $1,300 in money and oxicodone pills from a residence on Railroad Avenue in Erhard on Aug. 3.

Though the burglary took place early Tuesday morning, the home’s occupant, who was in the residence at the time the property was stolen, only reported the burglary on Friday.

According to the resident, she was asleep when the burglary took place. The burglar broke into the home through an air conditioner window and broke into the home’s safe, leaving with the money and pills. There is a possible suspect in the burglary.
