Taco soup [UPDATED]

This Taco Soup has made the rounds to several people and by their response they must have enjoyed it as they asked for the recipe. I hope you will enjoy it too.
If you didn’t know, you would think you were eating Chili. It has a few more ingredients and is a hearty soup that will warm you this fall and winter. It is also very easy to make.
TACO SOUP
1-2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion
Chop onion and brown the ground beef, drain off excess fat.
Add: 1 can of Ro-tel (diced chilies)
2 cans chili beans
2 cans crushed tomatoes (I use the larger size)
1 can of kidney beans (rinse and drain)
1 can whole kernel corn (include liquid )
1 can of peas (include liquid)
1 can of sliced carrots (include liquid)
1 can green beans (include liquid)
1/2 pkg of Taco Seasoning
1 pkg of dry Ranch Dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Simmer about 5 minutes
Partly Cloudy / 64° F
