Minor injuries for accident victim [UPDATED]

Kellie Carroll, 18, of Elizabeth, suffered only minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident east of Elizabeth at 7:40 a.m. Monday. The vehicle left Highway 10 and then vaulted and landed on its side, according to the sheriff’s department. Carroll, who was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Venture, sustained cuts to the mouth, as well as bruises. The victim was treated at Lake Region Hospital.
