An Elizabeth home was burglarized between the hours of 5 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, law enforcement reported on Thursday.

According to a report from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, the home, at 103 US Highway 59, was “ransacked” by a burglar. Furniture was upended around the home, and drawers had been pulled out of dressers and rummaged through.

Though the home was thoroughly gone through, the only items that were reported stolen were a DVD player and some prescription medications. The sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident.
