Aquatic Invasive Species Summit Jan. 15 in Detroit Lakes

Otter Tail County has joined with Becker and Hubbard county organizations to host the Aquatic Invasive Species Legislative Forum because all of our waters are either infected or at-risk. Our three counties represent more than 2,300 lakes with the potential for economic devastation if invasives continue to spread unchecked. The goals of the Summit are to define the AIS problem in specific environmental terms and to provide area legislators with baseline knowledge of the economic impact of AIS on these three counties. Simply put, doing nothing and accepting the inevitable is not acceptable.

Please accept our invitation to take part in the Tri-County Aquatic Invasive Species Legislative Summit. The Tri-County Aquatic Invasive Species Legislative Summit is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided both before and after the event. M-State is located at 900 Highway 34 East in Detroit Lakes.
