Chocolat Lovers Delight Dessert

If you like Chocolate, you will like this dessert.

It is an easy one to make and you can make the

Cake and pudding the day before an assemble

It in about 20 minutes. I did not use the sugar free

products but this would be an easy one to make with

Less calories using sugar free pudding, light cool whip,

light cream cheese and splenda or other sugar substitute..

1 box dark chocolate cake mix.

2 6 oz. boxes of instant chocolate pudding

5 cups of skim milk

2 8 oz. cream cheese

1/3 cup sugar

12 oz Cool Whip topping

1 cup Heath Bars bits.

6 chocolate sandwich cookies

1/3 cup butter or margarine.

Line a 11 x 15 inch bar pan with aluminum foil. Spray and flour

The pan. Make cake as directed and use about 1/3 cup less water.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until done. It doesn’t take long as this is about

One inch high. Let cool and lift out of pan with the foil. Cut into 1 inch

squares. (You can store in an airtight container for the next day if making

it ahead of time.

Make up the two 6 oz.instant puddings and I used 5 cups of milk to make the

pudding more dense. I used two room temperature 8 oz. cream cheese and

added 1/3 cup of sugar and beat with a mixer. I then added the thawed Cool

Whip by folding it in. If it isn’t thawed enough, use a mixer to make it smooth.

To assemble you can use a pretty pedestal or large glass bowl. I think you

Could even layer this in a 9 x 13 pan. Use half of the cake squares for the

First layer, then half of the pudding spread over cake pieces, then half of cool whip

mixture and spread over pudding and half of the Heath Bar bits. Repeat for the second layer.

I topped this with Heath bits and I used 6 chocolate sandwich cookies crushed

And mixed with 1/3 cup butter or margarine and sprinkled on top.

This makes quite a few servings so just cut down most ingredients in half except

the cake.
