Olson Oil 12U A Division Girls Hockey 2/5/2011
Published 10:37am Monday, February 7, 2011On Saturday the Olson Oil 12 U Girls hosted Brainerd. It was a close scoring game throughout all three periods. Brainerd would open the scoring in the first period, but Fergus would answer back with two goals coming in from Annie Magnusson. Annie would score again in the second and third periods giving her a hat trick and bringing in the victory for Fergus. Final score was Fergus 4, Brainerd 3. Goaltender, Chloe Kugler had a busy game with an impressive 38 saves.
It was back to their home ice Saturday evening for the Olson Oil 12 U girls as they hosted Fargo “A” Lightning. Fargo would take the victory in this game. Fergus would score one goal coming from Lydia Mann, assisted by Sophia Kuehl. Goaltender, Chloe Kugler would have another impressive showing with 39 saves. The final score was Fargo Lightning 5, Fergus 1.
