Erhard home burglarized

A 24-year-old Erhard resident is in custody after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing prescription medication.

Amanda Helmer was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property on Monday, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. She was caught after the homeowner of 435 Railroad Avenue called the authorities to report that someone had broken in overnight and taken prescription drugs and a wallet.
