FF seventh graders off to state

Published 10:55am Monday, April 18, 2011

The Fergus Falls seventh grade basketball team has been nothing but dominant in tournaments this spring.

This past weekend was no different as the boys travel to Fosston for the region Pacesetters tournament.

The boys took on all competitors and came away with double-digit wins over all their opponents and another set of first place medals.

The win gives the boys a chance to compete against seven other teams at the state tournament on June 19th.

The winner of the state tournament will have a chance to play at the Target Center in Minneapolis in July in the Great Four State youth basketball tournament championships.

This welcomes the top two teams from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota to compete for the title.
