I know, it’s another Chocolate  recipe.  But my reasoning is that  everyone seems to like chocolate or the candy bar industry would be out of business.insist

Deluxe Chocolate  Cake “Surprise”

1 dark chocolate  cake mix

8 oz  pkg cream cheese

1       pkg  semi sweet chocolate chips

1 / 2  pkg of butter scotch pudding mix

Mix cake mix according to directions.

Pour half of batter into a greased and floured  9 x 13 pan.  Cut cream cheese Into small pieces.  I usually cut length-

wise about 4 times and then across.  Drop these pieces on top of the batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips (dusted in flour

So they won’t sink to the bottom) over the cream cheese and batter. Pour remaining batter over the top and bake at 350  degrees for

40-45 minutes or until cake is done.  Cool Cake.

Frosting

8 0z container of whipped topping mixed with half a package of  butterscotch ( dry mix ) .

A few Chocolate chips on top is optional.

You can also use your favorite chocolate  frosting.  If using whipped topping, keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
