Community baby shower a success

Published 11:01am Friday, May 13, 2011

This past month Health Resources Center teamed up with Lakes Radio, Pamida, Kmart and Herbergers for the Areas Largest Baby Shower.comfortable

This first annual community event has proved to be a wonderful success.

The generosity of this community benefited Health Resources Center’s parenting program, “Treasures for Life.”

This program offers one-on-one educational classes that equip moms and dads to become better parents.

Items that were donated included diapers, baby books, infant toys, clothing, baby care products and the list goes on.

We offer a special thank you to Lakes Radio who sponsored and promoted the baby shower.

Thank you also, to Pamida, Kmart and Herberger’s stores, which served as drop-off locations for the new baby items.

Most importantly, we want to extend our appreciation to the entire community for supporting this event.

On behalf of the women, men and families we serve, thank you.
