Sting ops are unethical? What is selling drugs?

Published 11:36am Thursday, May 19, 2011

Regarding “sting ops are unethical” — selling drugs (prescription and street drugs) to our kids is unethical. You claim they coerced individuals into situations that would otherwise have not occurred. In every situation, a person has the determinating skills of morally knowing right from wrong, and yes it is wrong to sell controlled substances.

This is not new, so the amount of “shock” astonishes me. Whatever happened to “If you do the crime, then you do the time?”

I can think of no better way to spend our tax dollars than protecting our kids and community. God bless our police officers and our “secret police.” Thank you for caring.
