Elizabeth General store burglarized

A burglar or burglars broke into the Elizabeth General Store on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and made off with some items in the store, the sheriff’s office reported.

A description of most of the items have not been released, but the sheriff’s office did report that a safe had been taken from the building and then left outside.

How the burglars gained entry into the building has also not been released.
