The sheriff’s office is investigating the burglary of an apartment in Underwood sometime during the last two days.

Law enforcement was first notified of the burglary on Tuesday, when the 71-year-old resident of an apartment at 101 East Street discovered that her Dell laptop was missing.

It is believed the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The laptop’s cover is blue and has the Dell insignia on it. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 998-8555.
