Police nab suspected burglary ringPublished 11:40am Friday, June 17, 2011
Police have taken four members of an alleged burglary ring into custody after the young men stole high-end alcoholic drinks from Putter’s restaurant at the Pebble Lake Golf Course on Thursday morning.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at Putters just after 5 a.m. A window on the back side of the building had been broken, and the drinks were missing. Police, with the help of sheriff’s deputies and state troopers, canvassed the area.
Soon after, a state trooper detained and then arrested Jeremy Lorin Hansen, 18, of Fergus Falls, who was walking near the golf course. After further investigation, police arrested Pavel James Boyce, 22, of Fergus Falls; Sean Charles Daniels, 18, of Fergus Falls; and Tyler Eric Rudh, 20, of Rothsay. The three men were picked up around 3 p.m., all in Fergus Falls. Police believe all four men were involved in the Putter’s burglary.
Based on their investigation, police and the sheriff’s office believe the four men were also involved in burglaries and break-ins at Fergus Locker, the Lakes Area Shooting Range, Pebble Lake Auto, Beyer Body Shop and Towing, Ottertail Glass, the Pebble Lake Golf Course pro shop, Harm’s Towing in Underwood, and possibly more, all within the last few weeks. Law enforcement cannot say at this time if the four were connected to the May 31 burglary of the Elizabeth General Store.Tags: burglary, Fergus burglary ring, Pebble Lake Golf Course
