While a storm curtailed many 4th of July fireworks shows in west central Minnesota Monday evening, Mother Nature provided plenty of fireworks as a thunderstorm created a flurry of lightning strikes. This photo was taken from a Fergus Falls residence at about 11:15 p.m. Monday. Stormy weather caused a 60 to 90 minute outage for over 1,400 Otter Tail Power customers at about 5:30 a..m. after a tree fell on a power line.
