Two Fergus Falls residents were treated at Lake Region Hospital on Sunday after a two car collision at the intersection of county highways 10 and 27, east of Elizabeth.

Law enforcement reported that Lauren Stanislawski, 20, of Fergus Falls, was traveling west on 10 in a 1995 Regal Custom car, while Sophie Carlson, 18, of Fergus Falls, was driving north on 27 in a 2004 Audi A4. As Stanislawski approached the intersection, she did not yield the right-of-way and instead drove into the intersection, where she was hit on the rear driver’s side by Carlson.

Both cars received a significant amount of damage, and Stanislawski and one of her two juvenile passengers were injured.

Neither Carlson nor her 53-year-old passenger were hurt in the crash.
