Storm knocks out trees, power [UPDATED]

A wind storm that blew through Otter Tail County early Saturday morning left a path of downed trees in its wake.

There were several reports in and around Fergus Falls and the lakes area of fallen trees. A tree fell on a power feeder, which supplies power to 346 residents in Fergus Falls, at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, causing a power outage for about an hour, according to Otter Tail Power spokesperson Cris Kling.

There were also several reports of downed trees in Battle Lake and the Jewett-Long Lake area north of Fergus Falls.
