Break-ins reported [UPDATED]

Jerry Geisinger reported to the sheriff’s department a break-in that took place at his auto body business located on Highway 88 north of Fergus Falls.signals

The building was illegally entered July 23 or July 24.

Entry was made by forcing a window open.

No major items were stolen form his shop, however. The unknown party did enter a vehicle in Geisinger’s shop that was currently under restoration.

An attempt was made to steal the vehicle’s stereo, but the theft was not completed.

The incident is under investigation by the sheriff’s department.

Another break-in was reported at a hunting shack along 370th Street, near Erhard, at 10:47 a.m. Thursday.

Some items were missing and vandalism was reported. Also at the site was a trailer used in a previous burglary, nearby, on July 24.
