Lilliam Michelle Martin of Orange, Calif., and Eddie Brown of Spring Lake Park, were married on July 16, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Battle Lake, with the Rev. LeRoy Schik officiating.

A reception followed on the groom’s family farm in Clitherall.

The parents are Paul and Luisa Davis and William and JoAn Brown of Orange, Calif., and Minneapolis respectively.

The maid-of-honor was Savannah Davis, sister of the bride. The best man was Thomas Brown, brother of the groom.

Lilliam is a receptionist for New Orange Hills, a subacute medical rehab and pulmonary facility in Orange. Eddie is a master’s student at Loyola University Chicago where he is pursuing a social work degree.

The couple will live in Chicago come this fall.
