Dewey Memorial Ride leaves Saturday from Underwood
Published 11:16am Thursday, August 25, 2011The 10-88 Run – Deputy Chris Dewey Memorial Ride leaves Saturday from the Underwood American Legion Post 489 Underwood.
Registration starts at 10 a.m. at the Legion. Cost is $10 per bike/car and $5 for an additional rider.
The ride will leave at noon sharp (rain or shine) and three stops are planned at The Pit Stop in Evansville, The Fire Station in Garfield and at Chagen’s in Henning. Riders will return to the Underwood Legion for a dinner and DJ dance.
All proceeds from this ride will be used to establish a fund for any firefighters, EMS or law enforcement personal that are injured or killed in the Line of duty.
There will be a silent auction that will open during registration and will lose one hour after the ride returns.
The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 489 thank the following for their support, Underwood American Legion Post 489, Red Knights MC MN Chapter 5, The Pit Stop, The Fire Station, Chagen’s, Barrel O’ Fun, Sarah Lee Bakery, JC’s in Dalton, Ringdahl Ambulance.
Come out and have a great ride through the beautiful lakes of Minnesota and “Supporting those that serve Us.”
