A rural Pelican Rapids man reported Sunday that a generator and some other items had been stolen from his property. The man, who has a residence on 20300 450th St. (on the north side of Prairie Lake), discovered the 2,000 watt red Honda portable generator missing from an outbuilding.

Some alcohol and several gas cans were also stolen. Many other items of value were not taken during the burglary. A neighbor also reported a gas can missing during the same time frame.

The case is still under investigation.
