Rape investigated north of Pelican Rapids

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged rape that occurred recently north of Pelican Rapids.

A woman reported to the Fargo Hospital on Monday and said she had been raped by a man north of the city at a secluded spot.

Since she reported the crime in Fargo, the Fargo police will be helping in the investigation.

The sheriff’s office reported that there is no danger to the public in relation to this incident. The woman identified her alleged attacker, but no arrests have been made at this time.
