The sheriff’s office is investigating a few juveniles who were making a ruckus in Underwood early this morning.

The sheriff’s office received a call at 4:15 a.m. that some teens were being loud and possibly causing property damage in Centennial Park. As deputies were driving to the park, what appeared to be three juvenile males were seen running away from the squad car. The three could not be located.

The deputies arrived at the park and found that three large boulders had been moved into a roadway. They moved the boulders and looked around for other evidence, finding an abandoned car they believe was used by the teens. The car was towed.

No property damage occurred except to one planter that the teens appeared to have knocked over. It lost its contents when the officers attempted to right it.
