Battlers sweep Tigers in LEC match [UPDATED]

BATTLE LAKE — The Battlers were able to make quick work of rival Rothsay with a 3 set win (25-8, 25-7, 25-6).

“We really struggled serve receiving tonight as well as getting our offense through their block,” said Tigers’ Head Coach Heather Reber. “Battle Lake was very strong at the net on both offense and defense.”

Cheyanne O’Neal was amazing from the service line going 25-for-25 with 13 aces for Battle Lake.

The Battlers will now travel to take on Ashby at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, while the Tigers will look to rebound against Brandon-Evansville Monday at 7:30 p.m.
