The Rothsay volleyball team saw its season come to a close Thursday night, falling to Norman County West, 3-0 in Section 6A first-round playoff action.

The Tigers lost by scores of 25-16, 25-10 and 25-18.

“When we were able to put our offense together tonight, we were able to play with NCW,” Rothsay coach Heather Reber said. “Our serve receiving was inconsistent and that would slow us down offensively.  Overall I saw some good things happen tonight that we will bring to next years season.”

Rothsay ends its season with a 1-24 record. Norman County West will take on third-seeded Lake Park Audubon tonight.
