A daughter, Ellie Marie, was born Oct. 11, 2011, to James and Danielle Svendsgaard of Fergus Falls. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Grandparents are Donna and John Filippello of Fergus Falls, Leigh and Tom Lake of Underwood and Roger and Rachael Svendsgaard of Fergus Falls.

Great-grandparents are Walter Smith of Underwood, Marie Filippello of Monroeville, N.J. and Ann Lake of Underwood.
