Zenner, Haus named MVPs at Otter cross country banquet [UPDATED]

The Fergus Falls Otter cross country teams have ended their season, and Niki Welde, Otter girls coach, and the rest of the staff have awarded middle school and high school runners with various awards.

For the high school team, honors were as follows:

Hardest worker: Paige Larson, Sam Wasberg

Spirit: Emily Borowski, Sam Vatnsdal

Most improved: Emily Borowski, Sam Vatnsdal

Most valuable: Haylie Zenner, Zach Haus

Honors for the middle school team were as follows:

Hardest worker: Amanda Nelson, Emily Ratz, Spencer Breen

Spirit: Lilly Hunter, Isaac Daniels

Most improved: Solveig Lundberg, Nick Johnson

Most valuable: Annie Magnusson, Spencer Breen

Zenner, Borowski, CallieAnn Hoffbeck, Haus, Wasberg and Billy Eerdmans were this year’s captains. Borowski, Hoffbeck, Cierra Larson, Reilly Seland, Jesse Schneeberger and Connor Danielson will be the team captains in 2012.
