Man arrested for choking woman [UPDATED]

A Fergus Falls man was arrested Sunday afternoon for allegedly choking a woman in a residence on the 200 block of North Cascade Street.

After responding to a call at 2:45 p.m., police allegedly learned that Jeffrey Scott McSorley Jr. had been at the residence and had struck and choked a woman there after the two had gotten into an argument. McSorley was not at the residence when police arrived, but he was located and arrested a short time later for felony domestic assault by strangulation.
