Fergus Falls Quality Circuits Squirts fall 10-4

The Crookston Pirates squirts jumped out to a 4-0 lead early in the first period before Andrew Johnson got Fergus Falls on the board with ashot from the top of the right circle.

Crookston went up 6-1. The Quality Circuits Squirts didn’t give up and outscored Crookston in the second period. Declan Young, Campbell Cichosz, and Andrew Sillerud all scored unassisted goals to bring Fergus to within four.The Fergus Falls Squirts poured on the pressure in the third period, but had difficulty finding the back of the net as several shots deflected off the pipe or slid within inches of the goal.

Fergus Falls goalies Joe Connelly and Scott VanVoorhis had a combined total 26 saves. Crookston went on to win 10-4.

They will travel to West Fargo Next Sunday for a noon game, and then take on the Fargo Freeze Silver at 4:30 pm.
