The Hillcrest Lady Comets played a good and disciplined Parkers Prairie team on Friday night. Parkers Prairie jumped out to a 60-22 halftime lead and never looked back, as they won 90-32.

The Lady Comets got 12 points from Kelsey Nersten, and Julia Christenson added nine points and seven rebounds. Parkers Prairie was led by Micaela Noga and Madison Dorn, who scored 23 and 21.

“Parkers Prairie is a very good team,” said Allen Aase, Hillcrest’s coach. They can shoot and are very quick. Their press and fast breaks gave them easy baskets. We played very hard and never gave up, I was proud of our effort. Julia played her best game of the year and Kelsey did a good job filling in at point guard.”

The Lady Comets will see action again on Friday, Jan. 6th vs. Underwood.
