Knigts go cold vs Chargers

The WCA Knights travelled to Brandon on Tuesday night and hit only 13-54 shots for 24% in a 57-40 loss to the Chargers. The Chargers also outrebounded the Knights 39 to 15.

Knight Coach Kraig Hunter said, “That’s a pretty bad combination. When you shoot that percent and then get outrebounded that bad you don’t have a chance. Coach Holsten’s team played outstanding tonight. Our kids worked extremely hard but it wasn’t our night. Coach Holsten’s guys really did a good job on the boards on both ends tonight. They also finished shots and made most of their free throws. We will regroup and keep working hard to get better every day.”

John Haseman led the way for the Chargers with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Hintermeister added 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Jared Goehringer had 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Dakotah Kashmark and Matt Wagner both scored 14 points for the Knights. Adam Kaye led the Knights in assists with 2 and steals with 2.
