A benefit for Sarah Hoffman and family is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1st Church of the Nazarene in Fergus Falls.

A dinner and silent auction will be provided.

Sarah Hoffman, 26-year-old daughter of the Rev. Steve and Jeanna Hoffman, was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer in November.

She has had a bilateral mastectomy, removal of lymph nodes, and is in an aggressive treatment plan involving chemotherapy and radiation.

She graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in 2004 and lives in Plymouth, teaching Early Childhood Special Education in the Osseo School District.

She is strong and hopeful in spirit and is “fighting like a girl!”

The benefit will help with medical and personal costs associated with her breast cancer journey.

Supplemental funds have been applied for through Thrivent.
