Humane Society employee bitten by German shepherd [UPDATED]
Published 10:19am Monday, January 23, 2012 Updated 12:20pm Monday, January 23, 2012A 30-year-old female employee of the Otter Tail County Humane Society was given medical attention after being bitten by a German shepherd dog Friday evening northwest of Pelican Rapids, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department.
The employee, a resident of Fergus Falls, was performing a welfare check on the dog at a home along South Lake Olaf Road at about 9:30 p.m. Friday after receiving reports that the dog was not being cared for, the sheriff’s report said.
The employee was treated for the bite and released.
